Lights of Remembrance

Celebrate With Us

Join us as we come together to remember loved ones who cannot be with us this holiday season. We will celebrate the holiday season with our annual tree lighting ceremony, cookies, cocoa, and carols on December 5 at 4 p.m. in the Lepage Center at 103 Campus Avenue in Lewiston. This event is free and open to all.

Spread Comfort and Joy This Holiday Season

This year, we’re expanding our tree lighting event to include an opportunity to remember lost loved ones with the purchase of an ornament in their memory. Remembering your loved one with an ornament not only honors their memory it also brings comfort and joy to patients, families and St. Mary’s staff throughout the year.

Proceeds from ornament sales and donations will go toward the Marguerite d’Youville Fund for Financial Assistance, which supports patients and employees faced with financial hardship because of an unexpected crisis.  These expenses, which have risen significantly in the past few years, include medical equipment, rent or mortgage payments, transportation, utility payments, clothing, etc. Please keep in mind that 100% percent of all gifts to this fund are allocated directly to expenses.

Ornaments must be purchased by November 5 to ensure timely delivery.

Perpetual Ornament

Purchase a perpetual ornament and we’ll place this ornament engraved with the name of your loved one on our remembrance tree at the hospital every year.   You’ll also receive this year’s 2024 commemorative ornament in the mail.  $100
