MyChart Features
If you need support managing your healthcare or would like to help a loved one, MyChart allows you to share access through “proxy access.” Proxy access enables a family member or caregiver to view and manage your health information. You can also request proxy access to a family member’s account if you’re assisting them with their healthcare. With proxy access, you can easily view multiple health records within the same MyChart account.
To get started, you will need access to a computer connected to the internet and an up-to-date browser. You will receive a MyChart activation code from your provider’s office the next time you have an in-person appointment. This code will also be printed on your After-Visit Summary and your Billing Statement.

To access the MyChart app on your Android or Apple phone or tablet, simply go to your App Store and search for MyChart. When you download the app, select Covenant Health from the list of organizations and log in with your MyChart username and password.

Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. MyChart uses the latest encryption technology to automatically encrypt your session with MyChart. Unlike conventional email, all MyChart messaging is done while you are securely logged on to the MyChart website.
Yes, you can. This is called Proxy Access and allows you to view a family member’s MyChart account. You can also link your accounts for convenient access to appointments, prescription refills and much more. Proxy Access requires a Proxy Consent Form, which can be printed from the website or obtained from your hospital or provider practice.
No, due to the sensitive nature of medical information, each adult will need to request and establish their own MyChart account.
