Dr. Branda received his Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College here in Maine. He then received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine before moving on to his residency and training in Internal Medicine at Yale – New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Branda then completed a gastroenterology fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, prior to working as a gastroenterologist jointly at Central Maine Medical Center and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center for 10 years.
In 2022, St. Mary’s was fortunate to welcome Dr. Branda back to Lewiston after 4 years of practicing at Mercy Hospital in Portland.
