Shariam Casiano Vega. MD provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages. She believes in building lasting relationships with her patients and takes time to understand each person’s unique health goals. Her approach to care emphasizes prevention, wellness, and the connection between lifestyle and overall well-being.
Dr. Casiano Vega earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts and Nevis and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Central Maine Medical Center. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Casiano Vega is passionate about making quality healthcare accessible to everyone and enjoys caring for patients from diverse backgrounds. Her clinical interests include preventive and integrative medicine, women’s health, and chronic disease management.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, volunteering, and connecting with her community.
