Recipe: Cheddar-Apple Cracker Bites

The holidays can be a remarkably busy time of year. If you’re hosting family or friends to celebrate, it’s helpful to have a healthy, tasty, easy to prepare appetizer recipe on hand – and here it is!

Ingredients

  • 2 (0.7 oz.) slices reduced-fat cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
  • 8 flatbread crackers of your choice
  • 1 medium Fuji apple cut in 24 thinly sliced vertical pieces
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons stone-ground mustard
  • Optional – rosemary sprigs

  Directions

  • Place 1 cheese quarter on top of each cracker. Top each with 3 apple slices.
  • Combine honey and mustard in a small bowl. Drizzle evenly over apples. Garnish with rosemary sprigs, if desired.
