Davis Family Foundation Supports Blood Bank

Thanks to a $13,000 grant from the Davis Family Foundation, the St. Mary’s Blood Bank will receive a new blood refrigerator. The blood bank is an integral part of St. Mary’s Laboratory Services Department as it provides blood products for transfusions and other medical procedures to all hospital departments and supplies blood to other hospitals in need. On average, St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center supplies blood to 18 people a month – or 220 people annually.
